I AM AN OVERCOMER program aims to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and promote acceptance of individuals and families affected by the physical and psychological challenges of Mental Health, and HIV/AIDS.  We strive to reach out to high-risk, low-income, poverty-stricken, drug-infected, high pregnancy, crime areas that include high teen dropouts, historically disadvantaged neighborhoods and provide them with shelter and housing resources.

“Our Goal is to bring awareness to children and youth by partnering with school districts, daycares, shelters, college campuses, and churches.  We strive to ensure that our resources are accessible to everyone by offering hybrid workshops, seminars, and mentoring sessions.  We partner with grief and trauma agencies to ensure resources are available for this population.”

Services:

We have developed a social ecosystem among businesses, nonprofits, and agencies to ensure individuals, families, and the communities that are in the most need can be assisted. Through this system, we identify groups such as individuals directly and indirectly impacted by diagnosis, including youth, young adults, adults, elderly, and LGBTIQA+ communities.  We have identified areas and communities that are high risk, uneducated, or are misguided to provide accurate information and resources.  We collaborate with businesses, nonprofits, and agencies to develop and implement programs, workshops, and outreach campaigns that provide prevention education, access to services, and resources for those in need.

AIDS Awareness, Education and infection prevention seminars, workshops and training are accessible hybrid to these groups as well as agencies.  Our goal is to eliminate barriers that limit these individuals from receiving help.  Our vision is to bridge the gap by creating safe and holistic environments for everyone. Through the development of partnerships within the community such as Parkland Hospital, Dallas County Health & Human Services, Ryan White Planning Council, 3-N-1 Trinity Services, and other agencies individuals, families, and communities can not only learn to heal physically but mentally and emotionally.  They will no longer have to face life alone but will now have partnerships, resources and lifelines to ensure they can live life to the fullest.
